Hysterical

May 14th, 2008

With just days to go before we set out to record the next album we have received some interesting news on Stockholm Sin Drone...via Helsinki. It seems that there has been some renewed interest in the album thanks to a write up in Finland's NOISE magazine and NOISE Radio's recent spins of Message to Myself. This comes as a bit of a surprise given the album's release last summer but I am very grateful! Kiitoksia paljon, Suomi. Olen kiitollinen!

As many of you know Finland has a big piece of my heart. So this news comes as a great motivation as we are about to enter the studio once again. And I certainly felt this was worth sharing.

We'd love to keep the 'Drone droning in Finland. So for those who would like to request Message to Myself on NOISE feel free to do so at http://radio.noise.fi and while you're there also enjoy a lot of other great rock that this station spins.

It's been awhile...

I haven't updated in a long time. And that's simply because everything is on track for the upcoming studio sessions. I've often heard no news is good news and this case that's true...almost.

But more later. Not much later but later.

Bash in the Baltics

February 24th, 2008

Up until now my digital sales market in Europe has been limited by and large to Scandinavia. This is because until now Inprodicon, my digital distributor, has sold exclusively to that region. A perfect fit for my songs. But Laika Music, the biggest digital music sales medium in the Baltic countries, has recently become a client of Inprodicon.

I have many positive things to say regarding the rock music scene in all three of the Baltic nations and have looked into exploring this area for some time. So I am pleased to announce this news.

Gladet födelsedagen klippa och rullat!

January 31, 2008

It seems an opportunity has arose for a last minute add-on in the gigs department. We will be playing one week prior to departure to the Chicago gigs.

Fate would have it that Dead Aunt Rose's drummer, Jeff Bowling, and our beloved bassist Dave share the same birthday. So we'll be playing a local gig in the Cincinnati area to celebrate. Dead Aunt Rose set up this event so we thank them for asking us to join them.

The venue will be either Cheyenne's or Third Street Cafe (those indigenous to the area should be familiar) and is to be determined thus the TBA in the show listing. This will be posted shortly. But the show is confirmed and is open to the public-NOT a private party.

April Winos

January 30, 2008

The next two shows of 2008 are set to kick off in Chicago in April. There may be something before then but it's tentative as of now.

For the Chicago gigs in April we will be joined by our hometown (our American hometown, that is) friends the Day Fish Band and Dead Aunt Rose. All involved are very excited about this rock and roll road trip.

Our shows will be picking up near summer and we have a very big surprise planned for the fall. But we won't tell you what that is...yet.

Stay tuned.
